You want the flanged part of the bushing to be towards the table mounting plate or the leg-splined tap.

How to Replacing the Bushings:

  1. Remove old bushings (with a screwdriver or needle-nose pliers)
  2. Line up the line on the flanged part of the bushing with the cut in the arm
  3. Using a block of wood and a hammer, tap in the bushing
