Experience pure refreshment with the ALB ACTIVE water filter. It purifies tap water without removing essential minerals and trace elements, filtering out sediments, microplastics, and unwanted substances, so your water tastes naturally better.

Alb drinking water filter cartridge Active:
At the core of the cartridge is high-quality activated carbon, effectively reducing chlorine, organic pollutants, pharmaceutical residues, light hydrocarbons, solvents, pesticides, aromas, and fine particles such as rust, lime flakes, and sand. The filter also removes any unpleasant taste or chlorine odour, ensuring clean, fresh water. Each filter cartridge lasts up to four months, depending on water quality.

With the high-quality GEKA connecting elements made of brass, you can easily tap water from most sources worldwide. DVGW-compliant hoses, tap plugs, device plugs and hose connectors. 100% compatible with Gardena® and drinking water compliant.

To install the MOBILE SET, connect the filter with the screwed-on GEKA adapter to your existing water hose (Geka-compatible). Please note the direction of water flow! It's so easy to fill.

Tap → Hose → Alb filter → Filling nozzle: The filter simply hangs in the hose path during filling. 

Any Gardena hose fits on the inlet side; on the outlet side, the supplied short hose piece leads into the tank opening.

After refueling, the filter is drained and stored in a space-saving manner.

What is being filtered?

Active cartridge made of sintered coconut block activated carbon. The Active cartridge works in two ways: Adsorption binds odors, chlorine and dissolved pollutants, while mechanical filtration retains particles down to 10 µm – at full flow rate of approx. 7 l/min.

Chlorine and other taste impairments

The high-quality Alb Filter coconut block activated carbon adsorbs unpleasant odors (chlorine, CFCs, CFCs, etc.) and taste impairments in drinking water.

Microplastics and other fine particles

The ultra-fine structure of the sintered activated carbon reliably retains microscopically small plastic particles.

Drug residues and pesticides

Organic compounds such as pesticides, herbicides, insecticides, drug residues, as well as hormones and hormone-like substances are reduced.

Heavy metals such as lead and copper

The adsorbing effect of activated carbon binds and reduces heavy metals in drinking water.

Monoblock instead of loose activated carbon

Standard loose-fill activated carbon, commonly found in comparable water filters, does not offer sufficient protection against contaminants: In order to bind contaminants, the water needs direct contact with the filter medium. With loose-fill activated carbon, the water can find its way through the medium without touching the carbon – this portion passes through unfiltered.

Alb Filter therefore uses a pressed activated carbon monoblock with a fineness of 10 µm. Due to its high porosity, the water cannot pass through the filter without contact – thus reducing substances such as chlorine, heavy metals, drug residues, and hormones. Additionally, the fine channels retain solids such as microplastics, sand, and rust.
